What experience do the nannies have?

Yes, all our nannies have the relevant childcare qualifications and experiences, have been cleared by the Criminal Record and Crime Scene Management (CR & CSM) in Pretoria and have up-to-date paediatric first aid certification and travels with a first aid kit at all times.

What does the nanny do with the children?

It all just depends on the time of the booking. If it is a day booking the nanny will go out and about with the children, exploring and playing in the hotel/guest accommodation’s grounds or garden. They’ll be able do some arts and crafts, boardgames, swim and perhaps even fly a kite! 

An evening booking takes a different pace, perhaps the nanny will take the children for an early dinner in the hotel restaurant or the local pizzeria and then settle them in for the evening with their bath, story- and bedtime routine.

Does the nanny bring anything to the hotel?

Yes, absolutely. The nannies will know the age of the children prior to the booking and fill her “Bubble Basket”” with a selection of age appropriate books, toys and activities for the children to enjoy.

Do I have the same nanny if I book a number of days or evenings?

Providing the same nannie for a serious of days is something we really strive to achieve as we know how important this is for the parents as well as for the children.

I want the nanny service to help with my wedding, is it possible?

Absolutely. these kinds of bookings normally comes from the wedding planner or the bride and groom themselves. They normally know the families who are wanting some childcare so they will forward us the contact details of said families and we will take it from there.

What is your nanny/child ratio?

We provide one private nanny for every private family, regardless of the number of children. For weddings and parties, if more then three nannies are needed, a head nanny will be present to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Do I get any formal summary from the nanny after the booking?

Of course. The nanny will fill the parents in on their child’s day upon their return but on some occasions the parents will choose to catch up with their children or relax after their night out so a “Summary Sheet” will given. It will document all the things your child got up to during the booking.

We are here to serve you, and will try our best to accommodate last-minute bookings. However, all bookings placed less than 24 hours can not be guaranteed.

Cancellations and refunds

Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before the booking begins are not refundable.
